Terms of use
Last updated: 7 September 2026
What these terms cover
This website, kapix.app. When we publish an app, it will have its own terms and those will
govern that app; until an app publishes its own, these apply as far as they fit.
By using this site you accept what follows. If you disagree with any of it, the remedy is not to use it: there is no account to close and nothing to uninstall.
Kapix is the trading name under which Adrián Morales, an individual, operates in Mexico. Address for notices: Av. Eugenio Garza Sada 3820, piso 8, col. Mas Palomas (Valle de Santiago), C.P. 64780, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Email: hola@kapix.app.
What is ours
The Kapix name, the logo, the mascot Bit, the writing, the design, the applied typography and the code of this site are ours or used under licence. None of it transfers to you merely because you can see it.
What you may do
- Read the site, save it, print it and share it like any web page.
- Link to it from anywhere, without asking us.
- Quote it, saying where it came from.
- Use the press kit at
kapix.app/en/press, according to the rules on that same page. You do not need to ask us.
What you may not
- Present our brand, our logo or Bit as your own, or in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.
- Copy the site to pass it off as another, or build something that could be confused with Kapix.
- Try to take it down, flood it, reach places you should not, or probe it for holes without telling us first. If you find a security flaw, write to hola@kapix.app — we genuinely appreciate it.
If you break these rules and cause harm to us or to anyone else by doing so, you answer for it under the law. That is the only thing these terms put on you.
What this site is, and what it is not
This site publishes information about Kapix and its apps. It does not run a service that depends on you: there is no account, there are no forms, and we hold nothing of yours that could be lost here.
There can be outages and there can be errors, and we may change or withdraw it when needed. That describes the service; it is not a waiver of anything.
What we publish, and what it is for
What we publish is general information about Kapix and its apps, and it does not constitute professional advice of any kind — not medical, athletic, legal, tax, financial or safety advice. Do not make a decision with real consequences based solely on what you read here.
What we are not going to attempt
Plenty of terms of use include a clause saying the author is liable for nothing. You will not find one here, and not out of generosity: because it would not work.
Article 90 of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Act treats several kinds of standard-form clause as not written. Among them: clauses releasing the supplier from civil liability —except where the consumer is the one in breach—, clauses letting the supplier change the contract unilaterally, and clauses shifting the supplier’s civil liability onto the consumer. None of the three is on this page. Including them would mean writing something with no legal effect that would also give you a false impression of where you stand.
So, plainly: if something we get wrong on this site causes you harm, we answer for it under the law. And your rights as a consumer cannot be waived, whatever these or any other terms say.
Links to other sites
When we link to a third-party site — an app store, the page where you can buy us a coffee — we do
not operate it, we do not control it and we do not review its content. Once you leave kapix.app,
that site’s terms and privacy notice apply.
Apps stand on their own
When we publish an app, downloading or using it will be governed by that app’s terms and by the conditions of the store you get it from, not by this page; and each app will publish its own privacy notice, because each one handles different data. Until that exists and is published, this page is what there is.
If part of this does not hold
If a court or competent authority finds any clause of these terms invalid or void, that clause is treated as not written and the law applies in its place. The rest stands unchanged. We do not claim it should apply “to the extent it is valid”: that is the law’s call, not ours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
If you live outside Mexico, this takes nothing away from you: you keep the rights and the courts your country of residence gives you. If you are in Mexico, besides writing to us you can go to PROFECO, which takes complaints in writing, by phone and electronically.
Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, we change this page and update the date shown above. Changes apply going forward: what already happened is governed by the version published at the time. If you want to see an earlier version, ask us at hola@kapix.app and we will send it.
